CRNA Nursing Stipend Program:

The University of North Carolina Hospitals offers an educational assistance program to encourage qualified registered nurses to enter the profession of nurse anesthesia.

UNC Hospitals has committed both clinically and financially to the education of student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNA).

This stipend program at UNC Hospitals provides financing of UNC systems in-state tuition, fees, books, and a living allowance for each year of study.  In return, the recipient will sign a contractual agreement to commit to one year of full time employment for each year that financing is received.  Nurses entering anesthesia programs not affiliated with the UNC education system will also be considered.

To qualify for this program, you must be accepted for enrollment into a program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
