Kiawah Island Resort
Accommodations

Located on Kiawah Island, South Carolina, 21 miles south of historic Charleston, the Kiawah Island Resort is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and vast salt marshes.  Accomodations range from one, two, three, and four bedroom villas to spacious hotel rooms and suites, priced accordingly, and feature views ranging from marshlands to woods to the ocean.  For those who wish to venture off-island for city pursuits, Charleston is just a short drive away.

A block of rooms has been reserved for participants attending this course.  The Kiawah Island Resort offers the UNC Department of Anesthesiology the following group rate:  $212 for one bedroom scenic villas, and $253 for two bedroom scenic villas.  This rate is available two days prior and post convention dates (based on availability).  The reservation cut-off date for the block rate is May 17, 2010.  Other accommodations are available--check with the resort for pricing and availability.  To make a reservation, call the Kiawah Island Resort at (800) 576-1570 and identify yourself with the UNC School of Medicine Group Group Booking ID # 6198.  Individuals are responsible for making their own reservations.

A non-refundable deposit equal to one (1) night's stay per reserved accommodation is required. Deposit guarantees accommodations for the scheduled arrival day, but will be applied towards your last night's reservation. Failure to show on arrival date or early departure will result in loss of deposit. Make your reservations early - our room blocks do sell out!
