Located just minutes from downtown Asheville, North Carolina, with dramatic views of the great Smoky Mountains, near the Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway, The Grove Park Inn is an Arts and Crafts masterpiece, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Championship Donald Ross golf, exquisite dining, a sports complex, shopping, and the world-class spa are among the amenities of the Inn. Many of the outdoor attractions include a memorable water slide at Sliding Rock, geocaching for treasures in Pisgah National Forest, a visit to Chimney Rock Park, mining for gems, mountain biking, trail running, whitewater rafting, or just a lazy-river tube ride down the French Broad River.
A block of rooms has been reserved for participants attending this course. The Grove Park Inn offers the UNC Department of Anesthesiology the following group rates: $209 for a single or double room, and $249 for one bedroom suites. This rate is available two days prior and post convention dates (based on availability). The reservation cut-off date for the block rate is May 16, 2008. Other accommodations are available--check with the resort for pricing and availability. Make your reservations early - our room blocks do sell out!
Registration and Fees
Registration includes teaching materials, continental breakfasts, and refreshments. Confirmation will be mailed. Please call (919) 962-2118 if acknowledgment of registration is not received by June 2, 2008.

* Residents must be currently enrolled in good standing in an accredited program, and a letter from the residency program director must accompany registration.
Refund Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing either by fax or mail by June 2, 2008. Cancellations received after this date will not be refunded. In order to process funds, you must provide us with your social security number (Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997). A cancellation fee of $75 will be charged. Transfer of registration to another UNC School of Medicine conference in lieu of cancellations is not possible.
The University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation or postponement, the University will fully refund registration fees but is not responsible for any related costs or expenses to participants, including cancellation fees assessed by hotels, airlines, rental car or travel agencies.
