Interview Process
The interview visit is planned to be as informative and pleasant as possible. Because we recognize the personal expense and effort involved in your coming to Chapel Hill for an interview, we organize the day so that you, the faculty, and residents will learn enough about each other to make an informed decision about your residency choice.
The evening before your interview, you will be invited to attend an informal Chair's reception where you will have the opportunity to meet the Department Chair, faculty members and residents. Following the reception you will spend the rest of the evening having dinner and getting to know our residents.
Day of Interview
On the morning of the interview, you will first meet with your host residents and a faculty member who will conduct an informal tour of the town and campus. Later that morning you will meet and have time to spend with our residents and other faculty members.
